SeaWorld Orlando Update: Most Areas Refreshed, Work on New Roller Coaster Begins (PART 2)

While we are going to miss Journey to Atlantis in the coming months, it's great to see it is receiving the attention it deserves. Hopefully they will take this opportunity to restore some of the attraction's show scenes:

Kraken was also completely repainted using a new color scheme. We love it!:

Antractica is the other area that will surely receive some attention in the near future. The attraction is still inoperable (only the walk-through portion is still open), and the facades need to be refurbished:

The Sea Lion & Otter Spotlight is another great show that you shouldn't miss:

Moving on to the Waterfront, we checked out the new Lakeside Grill, which replaced the Spice Mill Cafe:

While some of the themed elements remain, we have to say that we miss the look of the previous iteration of this quick-service restaurant. That said, we are very happy this space got an extensive refurbishment as well:
