RUMOR: Could Minor Enhancements be Coming to EPCOT's "Harmonious" Nighttime Spectacular?

Despite being touted as "the largest nighttime spectacular ever created for a Disney park" when it was first announced, EPCOT's new nighttime show (known as "Harmonious") is not considered as grand by some theme park fans, especially given the size of the unsightly barges that have greatly impacted the views across the World Showcase Lagoon.

While it is unlikely that the Walt Disney World Resort is planning on introducing major changes to the show in the near future given how new it is, there's a possibility that minor changes could be introduced sooner than we think.

This rumor stems from a recent test that took place on the night of March 3, 2022, when Disney Live Entertainment teams gathered around the World Showcase Lagoon after park close to review and test some of the pyrotechnic effects. Reportedly, the test lasted approximately 20-25 minutes in total, with pauses in between bursts to allow for creative discussion. During this test, a variety of 1.4G (smaller) fireworks were launched from some of the existing launch sites.

Of course, this could be simply a test to check product quality or simply to assess the safety practices in place. If Disney is actually planning on introducing enhancements to the show, we could get a confirmation during the upcoming D23 Expo.
