Facial Coverings Required Indoors for All Guests and Team Members Starting Friday, December 24

Due to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases, Universal Orlando is now requiring all Guests (regardless of their vaccination status) to wear a face covering while indoors. Here's the official statement released by the resort:

"The health and safety of our Guests and Team Members is always our top priority. As a result, face coverings will now be required, effective Friday, December 24 at all public indoor locations within Universal Orlando Resort for both Guests and Team Members regardless of vaccination status - including restaurants, shops, and indoor hotel public areas. Face coverings are also required at all attractions from the moment Guests enter the queue to when they exit the experience. Based on these updates, Guests are expected to bring a face covering with them for their visit.

As our approach continues to be guided by protecting your safety and health, we urge everyone to take precautions. Please continue to follow the guidelines of health officials: get booster shots, wear masks when in public, and get prompt testing if you begin to feel any symptoms of the virus or are a close contact to someone who is confirmed COVID positive."
