Expedition Everest Closing for Refurbishment Starting January 4, 2022 at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Guests planning on visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park early next year should keep in mind that Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain will undergo refurbishment for a software update beginning January 4, 2022 until mid-April 2022. During the downtime, the attraction will periodically run without riders for testing purposes.

The work being done at Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain will not change the ride experience.
