Updated Version of My Disney Experience App Now Available in the App Store and Google Play

Earlier today, version 6.4 of the My Disney Experience app was released on the App Store and on Google Play. Continue reading to see what's new in the latest version of this official Walt Disney World app.


What's New:

1) New Sign-In and Account Management System
The My Disney Experience app has a new sign-in, registration, and account management system, offering many enhancements and fixes from the previous system.

2) New "Forgot Password" option 
This option allows Guests with verified mobile phone numbers to be sent a one-time-use code to sign-in to the app. Account Sign-In Notifications will be sent when the Guest signs in from a new device for added security.​

3) Use of "Precise Location" option for iOS 14 users:
This update includes support for the new "Precise Location" setting in iOS 14. Guests who have turned OFF "Precise Location" may see a prompt to enable the setting if they try to use any of these features:
  • "Locate Me" feature in Finder Map
  • Wayfinding/Get Directions
  • Dine Walk-Up/Reservation Check-In

These features will be unavailable if "Precise Location" is turned off.

All Guests will be required to sign-in again once they install My Disney Experience app version 6.4. After signing-in, Guests can set up biometric sign-in systems, such as Touch ID and Face ID.
