State of Florida to Open New COVID-19 Testing Site Near Disney's Animal Kingdom

Yesterday evening, Walt Disney World announced that the Florida Division of Emergency Management will open a temporary testing site outside the Maingate office complex at 3010 Maingate Lane in Osceola County. This area is located just south of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

The Florida Division of Emergency Management will operate this temporary, drive-thru facility. The facility will provide COVID-19 testing services for Florida residents, Cast Members, employees, and visitors, including a dedicated service lane for employees of Operating Participants, Cast Members, and their immediate family members. Test results are confidential and anticipated to be available within 3-5 days.

Testing at this site is free and available to anyone over the age of 2, with or without symptoms. This facility will be open seven days a week beginning August 14, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Disney Cast Members, Operating Participant employees and their immediate family members who are interested in obtaining a test are encouraged to make a reservation at DisneyCovid19Test.com. All others seeking to receive a test are encouraged to make a reservation at DoINeedACovid19Test.com.

Disney Cast Members, Operating Participant employees and their immediate family members may receive a COVID-19 test during the soft opening of the testing location on August 13 by making a reservation at DisneyCovid19Test.com and bringing their Cast Member ID.
