New "Mary Poppins"-Inspired Attraction and Spaceship Earth Refurbishment Delayed at EPCOT

With the reopening of Walt Disney Imagineering Presents the EPCOT Experience, Guests may notice a few changes since their last visit. The Walt Disney World Resort is currently restarting work on many projects, and while the company looks forward to sharing additional information about the adjusted timelines in the near future, there are a few updates Guests should be aware of.

Work will resume on the new neighborhood of World Celebration, which will bring new dining, retail, and entertainment to the center of the park. The park will be taking a different approach to the previously-announced festival location.

There are also some projects at EPCOT that will be evaluated further, so the park will be pausing work on the following for now:

• The attraction inspired by “Mary Poppins”
• The transformation of Spaceship Earth
