Crayola Experience Orlando Reopens to Guests With Enhanced Safety Measures

The Crayola Experience location in Orlando officially reopened its doors to Guests on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. The attraction's official website features additional information about the new safety measures currently in place.

"During the past few months you’ve had fun with our online crafting activities, welcoming us into your home. Now, we’re excited to welcome you back into ours!

It seems like forever since we’ve seen you, and we’ve been hard at work to prepare for your return. We’ve implemented several new protocols aligned with state and local requirements, guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, and industry recommendations that are designed to promote cleanliness, social distancing and reduced physical contact.

We’ve included a lot of important information on this page that details what we’ve done and how to best plan your visit so that you can enjoy your time with us—even with the additional measures we’ve put in place.

For those of you who are unable or not yet ready to come back, we invite you to take advantage of our At Home with Crayola Experience crafts for creative activities to do with your children.

We will continue to monitor the situation for additional guidance issued by state and local officials and the CDC. As you make your plans and before you leave home, please review the reopening information of the location you plan to visit since details may change.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and are thrilled to have you rediscover the colorful adventures of Crayola Experience where you and your family can play together, express your creativity, and create lasting memories."

This what the attraction is doing to keep Guests safe during this time:
  • Limiting the number of guests in the attraction, theater show, and retail store.
  • Performing entry screenings and temperature checks on Guests and team members (employees) prior to entering the building each day and requiring those who don’t feel well to go home.
  • Requiring face coverings for both Guests and team members.
  • Enhancing and increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces – such as tabletops, countertops, stools, computer screens, doors, handrails, trash containers, water fountains, and restrooms throughout the attraction, café and retail store.
  • Adding even more hand sanitizer stations throughout the attraction.
  • Installing acrylic barriers around registers and guest relations.
  • Training team members on cleaning protocols and regularly reinforcing personal preventive hygiene best practices.
  • Providing signage and ground markers in high-traffic areas to remind guests to maintain proper distancing when in line or navigating through the attraction and retail store.
  • Temporarily modifying certain activities and food service areas to promote physical distancing and cleanliness.
  • Requiring cashless transactions. Self-service payment terminals are at registers in the attraction and retail store. We are accepting major credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay.
  • Implementing touchless e-ticketing for general admission tickets purchased at a cashier or kiosk on site.
  • Extending annual pass and ticket expiration dates.
  • Offering a new ticketing option for unlimited visits through the end of the year.
