New "One Day at Disney" Book and Disney+ Series Now Available

Thanks to the “One Day at Disney” book and Disney+ series, Disney fans can now experience what it’s like to report for work at The Walt Disney Company. Released today, the book showcases unique stories that depict an “ordinary” day behind the scenes at The Walt Disney Company.

All photos for the book were captured during a twenty-four-hour period on a Thursday in 2019. A small army of photographers and videographers scattered across the globe to capture what goes on beyond the “Cast Members Only” doors. Beginning early in Tokyo and following the sun around the world through Shanghai, Hong Kong, Paris, Madrid, the Bahamas, Costa Rica, and dozens of places throughout the United States. More than 40 hours after it began, the day ended as the sun set on the Aulani resort in Hawaii.

In addition to the book, the Disney+ team was on hand to capture stories along the way. A full-length documentary and 52 short-form episodes expand the profiles and delve deeper into the essence of what it’s like to be a Disney cast member. The full-length documentary is now available to watch on Disney+. The 52 short-form episodes, ranging in length between 4 to 7 minutes long and each profiling a single remarkable person, will debut each week.
