Fountain of Nations, Mouse Gear, Club Cool, and More Closing Later This Year at Epcot

The Walt Disney World Resort has announced that even more areas of Epcot will close later this year as part of the park's ongoing evolution. Mouse Gear, Club Cool, Pin Central, and Heritage Manor will all close before the end of the year. Several of these offerings will continue to operate in temporary locations while work takes place in those areas of the park.

Here you are additional information about the future of these locations:
  • Art of Disney and Pin Central will close on September 8, 2019
  • The Camera Center and Heritage Manor will close and return early next year with different product assortments from Pin Central and Art of Disney, respectively.
  • Mouse Gear will move to a temporary location while crews refurbish its current home.
  • Club Cool will be incorporated into a new space in the near future.
As a part of the largest transformation in the park's history, the Fountain of Nations will close permanently on Sept. 8, 2019.

  1. Say it ain't so! The fountain of nations is as iconic as the Main Street Elec- er, the Great Mov- uh, umm... there's nothing iconic at Animal Kingdom... It's as iconic as Rhino Ral- oh.. uh, Jaw- umm, Duel... no... It's as iconic as the Sky Tower at SeaWorld! Yeah! And it has the coolest soundtrack ever! RIP fountain of nations, you'll go down in the book of things at theme parks that shouldn't have been taken away.
