New Woody’s Roundup Summertime Event Coming to Disney’s Contemporary Resort

This July, Walt Disney World Resort Guests are invited to step inside Andy’s favorite playset and join a summertime Toy Story hootenanny with Woody’s Roundup. This event will take you back to your own playful beginnings along with your Disney•Pixar pals. Sheriff Woody, Jessie the Yodeling Cowgirl, Bullseye and Buzz Lightyear are on hand for true toy fun with Guests of all ages.

This exciting event will be filled to the brim with a variety of music, games, activities, and a BBQ buffet dinner. Guests can celebrate summer and send off this toy-rific night right with a Magic Kingdom Park nighttime spectacular. Woody’s Roundup Guests will enjoy the music and fantastic views of fireworks from the porte cochere of the Convention Center.

This limited-time event will take place July 4–6 from 6:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Tickets for this event are $149 for adults (ages 10 and up) and $99 for children (ages 3 to 9), tax and gratuity included. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1) Will transportation be provided for Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel besides Disney’s Contemporary Resort?

Yes. Complimentary transportation will be provided at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Please, note that there will be no Special Event or Resort-to-Resort transportation provided to and from the event. Woody’s Roundup Guests will receive further details closer to their check-in date.  

2) Will parking be available at Disney’s Contemporary Resort? 

Limited parking is available at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. We highly recommend that Guests take advantage of complimentary transportation options offered by the Walt Disney World Resort. 

3) Do you have to be over 18 years old to attend the event?

No. Guests of all ages are welcome at this event. However, Guests must be at least 21 years of age or older to consume alcoholic beverages. Please keep a valid form of identification on hand at all times during the event.

4) Will there be menu options for Guests with dietary needs?

Guests with dietary needs should address those at the time of event check-in.

5) Will there be childcare available at the event?

While there will be no dedicated childcare available at the event, Guests are encouraged to take

advantage of the existing services on property, including Children’s Activity Centers or in-room

babysitting. Woody’s Roundup is for children of all ages and a family-friendly event.

6) Is this event accessible for all Guests of all abilities?

Yes, this location is ECV accessible and welcomes service animals.

7) What Magic Kingdom fireworks will we see at Woody’s Roundup?

On July 4, Guests will see Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky. On July 5 and 6, Guests will enjoy Happily Ever After. Please note that nighttime spectaculars may be cancelled due to inclement weather and are subject to change.

8) Is Woody’s Roundup part of Pixar Play Zone?

No, Pixar Play Zone was a limited offering just for kids, previously held at Disney’s Contemporary Resort until March 30. Woody’s Roundup is for children of all ages and a family-friendly way to celebrate the summertime with a Disney•Pixar Toy Story-inspired buffet dinner, available for three nights only, July 4–6.
