Lobby Floor of Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Be Replaced in Phases

The Walt Disney World Resort recently confirmed that the entire lobby floor of Disney's Art of Animation Resort will be replaced this year. This work officially began tonight (April 28) at 11:00 p.m. and is scheduled to continue until Saturday, September 7, 2019 in 6 phases. Here you are additional information about this project:

• Guests traveling via Disney's Magical Express to the resort will be welcomed at the bus zone that is currently for Disney Hollywood Studios (2nd bus stop). The Disney's Hollywood bus stop will be temporarily relocated to the empty bus load zone at the end of the walkway.
• Guests departing via Disney's Magical Express for the airport will continue to board the bus under the Porte Cochere.
• Guests departing for Disney Cruise Line may wait in the area of the "Landscape of Flavors" restaurant located immediately to the left upon entering the food court. 
• Sketch Artist times will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. beginning Monday, April 29 and will be held in the Resort Airline Check-in location (in the back of Animation Hall near the Drop Off Pool Bar).
• Front Office Cast Members will be primarily roaming outside and inside Animation Hall
