Rafiki's Planet Watch Closing Until Spring 2019 at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Starting October 21, Rafiki’s Planet Watch and the Wildlife Express (the train that Guests have to use to reach this remote land) will not be available to Guests visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom. The Walt Disney World Resort anticipates reopening Rafiki’s Planet Watch and the Wildlife Express for Guests in Spring 2019, with more details to come.

In the meantime, the Walt Disney World Resort stated that the company will take a closer look at the offering to determine what would be most meaningful to Guests as well as what fits best within the overall park experience.
