Disney Confirms that There Will Be No Soft-Openings for Toy Story Land

The Walt Disney World Resort officially confirmed that the new Toy Story Land will open to Guests on June 30 without pausing for a soft opening or previews (only Cast Members will have the chance to ride the Slinky Dog Dash coaster before the land officially opens to the general public). Following the opening, the park will feature longer operating hours and daily Extra Magic Hours so as many Guests as possible can enjoy the land.


That said, select Guests will be able to spend some extra time in this new land later this year:
  • Annual Passholders (Gold and above) will receive exclusive opportunities to experience Toy Story Land on select dates and times in September at events called “Passholder Play Times.”  
  • Disney Vacation Club Members will also be invited to enjoy their own exclusive experiences in Toy Story Land, including Moonlight Magic events, in September and October.
