Construction Work to Impact Several Walt Disney World Roads This Week

Over the next few days, some of Walt Disney World's roadways will be impacted by construction work. As always, keep in mind that the following impacts are subject to change due to weather conditions or operational needs.

Single lane closures around property May 29–June 1
Single lane closures will occur intermittently on Victory Way, Osceola Parkway, Buena Vista Drive, and southbound World Drive (near the Car Care Center).

Southbound World Drive closed nightly May 29–June 1
From Magic Kingdom park close through 6 a.m., southbound World Drive — near the Car Care Center — will be closed. Drivers traveling southbound on Floridian Way will be directed eastbound on Seven Seas Drive to reach their destination. Drivers exiting the Magic Kingdom parking lot will be directed around Speedway.

Victory Way south of Osceola Parkway closed nightly May 29–June 1
Closures beginning the night of May 29 and May 31 will begin at 9 p.m. The closure beginning the night of May 30 will begin at 11 p.m. Cast Members scheduled to work at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. should speak to their leader for more information.

Inbound lanes in Magic Kingdom parking closed nightly May 29–June 1
From Magic Kingdom park close through 6 a.m., all traffic will be routed to use the new exit ramp onto Vista Blvd. Drivers traveling to the Magic Kingdom parking lot should follow the detour onto Seven Seas Drive, then Floridian Way to use the access gate. During this time, security will keep the gate open.

Exit from Speedway onto Buena Vista Drive closed beginning May 29
Beginning Tuesday, May 29, the exit from the Speedway gas station to Buena Vista Drive and the Lime Garage will be permanently closed. Speedway visitors must exit through the parking lot behind the gas station and toward Team Disney. Additionally, the left turn into the Speedway lot from westbound Buena Vista Drive will be permanently closed.

Please remember to always travel safely throughout property and remain alert, as Walt Disney World's roadways continue to change and grow along with the rest of the resort.
