PHOTOS: First Gondola Support Spotted Near Disney's Pop Century Resort

While driving around the Walt Disney World Resort, we noticed that one of the very first gondola supports has been installed along the entrance of Disney's Pop Century Resort, facing the road leading to the parking lot entrance of Disney's Pop Century Resort.

Manufactured by Doppelmayr, Walt Disney World's gondola system will soon connect Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios to Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, and Disney's Pop Century Resort. Trees continue to be cleared in multiple areas around Walt Disney World to make way for this new transportation system:

Disney Skyliner is scheduled to open in late 2019, just in time for the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
