Construction Work Impacting Several Roads Within the Walt Disney World Resort

Several roads within the Walt Disney World Resort will be impacted by construction work in the coming weeks. While the following information is accurate as of today (Saturday, January 20, 2018), keep in mind that these impacts are subject to change due to weather conditions or operational needs.

1) Magic Kingdom auto plaza lanes reduced by one lane through the end of March

Starting from this week, lanes into the Magic Kingdom parking lot will be reduced by one lane on each side. The u-turn at the west side of the auto plaza permanently closed on Jan. 19. Work is scheduled to be completed by the end of March.

2) Inbound lanes into Magic Kingdom parking closed nightly 10 p.m.–6 a.m. Jan. 21–26
All traffic will be routed to use the new exit ramp onto Vista Blvd. Drivers traveling to the Magic Kingdom parking lot should follow the detour onto Seven Seas Drive, then Floridian Way to use the access gate. During this time, security will keep the gate open.

3) Single lane closures around property Jan. 21–26
Beginning Sunday, Jan. 21, single lane closures will occur on Victory Way, Buena Vista Drive, southbound Bonnet Creek Parkway, Epcot Center Drive, and southbound World Drive (near Car Care Center).

Remember to always travel safely throughout property and remain alert, as roadways continue to change and grow along with the Walt Disney World Resort.
