Disney's Vero Beach Resort Hosts the "Tour de Turtles" Event

On July 29, the 2017 Tour de Turtles event took place at Disney's Vero Beach Resort. More than 1,000 Guests were in attendance. Sally and Cruz, the two loggerhead turtles released, were outfitted with satellite transmitters attached to their shells, which will help the Sea Turtle Conservancy, as well as the Disney's Animals, Science and Environment team, track their whereabouts and learn more about turtle migration patterns.
