Work Taking Place at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort should be aware that the fitness center at Senses — A Disney Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa closed for flooring replacement work earlier today. The fitness center is expected to reopen no later than Friday, June 16. During this closure, Guests staying at the resort may visit the temporary fitness center at Salon 9, which is located in the Convention Center of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

In addition to that, beginning June 19, smoke detector maintenance will be conducted in Guest rooms at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, including The Villas.

Cast Members will briefly enter Guest rooms to perform maintenance Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests that have questions or concerns about this work are invited to contact a Front Desk host or hostess. This work will last approximately two weeks.
