"Spring Forward" on March 12 as Daylight Saving Time Begins

Daylight saving time begins Sunday, March 12 at 2 a.m. in the United States and other parts of the world. That means that it's nearly time to spring forward by setting clocks and watches ahead by one hour. Most electronic devices (including mobile phones, computers, and cable boxes) adjust automatically, but others like kitchen appliances and the clock in your car might need to be changed manually. This is also a great time to change the batteries in your home smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
