Magic Kingdom Update: Main Street Refurbishments (PART 2)
In the previous part, we took a look around the esplanade in front of the entrance of the park, Town Square, Main Street U.S.A., the central hub, and Tomorrowland. Let's continue to walk around the park to see what else has changed since our last visit. We can assure you that there's always something new to see around the Magic Kingdom.
Fantasyland:
The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train has outrageous wait times even when the park is relatively quiet:

An idea I think Magic Kingdom could benefit from would be to close down the Pinocchio Village Haus and make that the entrance spot for "It's A Small World" and at the same time remove the first part of the building to "It's A Small World" so that it can showcase the giant clock facade to everyone passing by, plus if they make the entrance where the Pinocchio Village Haus it and remove the entire queue area where it is now, they could widen the walkway thus eliminating that huge bottleneck that occurs because of the entrances to both "It's A Small World" and Peter Pan's Flight being right across from one another. As a bonus, if Disney were to remove the outer building housing the queue, they could deck out the giant clock facade in Christmas lights during the holiday season just like Disneyland does.
ReplyDeleteDisney would never do that because no restaurant means no money. They don't care about the bottleneck. They are a business, they care about money.
ReplyDeleteAlso It's a Small World is considered one of the "untouchables" in terms of Disney rides. Just about any change to it besides technical upgrades would cause a storm of criticism. Plus yes, no restaurant = no income.
