Blue Man Group Hosts 2nd Annual Autism-Friendly Show

Blue Man Group at Universal Orlando and the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization, Autism Speaks, have teamed up to announce their second annual collaborative performance on Saturday, January 21 at 6:00 p.m.
The sensory-friendly performance will create a safe and welcoming environment for individuals and families affected by autism. Slight modifications will be made to the show, including reducing sound & light levels and providing headphones.

The Blue Men will also limit the amount of direct audience interaction and keep their approach to the audience more subdued. Blue Man Group will also create calming environments in the theater’s lobby for families seeking a break from the excitement.

Tickets for children and adults are priced at $34 (plus applicable fees). The Autism Speaks performance at Universal Orlando Resort is part of a national partnership between Blue Man Group and Autism Speaks, in which Blue Man Group pledges to give a minimum donation of $25,000 to the cause as well as host autism-friendly shows suitable for families in Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, New York City and Orlando.
