PHOTOS: Tree of Life Garden Reopens at Animal Kingdom

The beautiful Tree of Life Garden has officially reopened to Guests at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park after having been closed to the public for years.
Guests walking around this charming area will notice that there are no nets to be seen anywhere along the way (which is great news, especially since a number of nets were installed in other areas after a "branch" of the tree fell). Additionally, Guests can get a good view of the kangaroos from this area of the theme park.

Disney's Animal Kingdom is one of our favorite theme parks:

Plenty of rockwork and tree roots can be seen along the way:

The Tree of Life Garden is a great place to take up-close photos of the park's icon:

Sadly, they were nowhere to be found yesterday afternoon:

  1. When Animal Kingdom originally opened, the pathway that is now the Tree of Life Garden, was originally the queue for "It's Tough to be a Bug". I seem to recall that guests had a difficult time finding the entrance to the attraction as it was halfway to Africa, so the entrance was eventually moved to it's present location.

  2. Absolutely beautiful! I have been waiting so long for something as simple as a nature/walking trail to open back up, after years of waiting. I cannot wait to explore these trails soon. Something as simple as this is why I love Disney's Animal Kingdom.
