Universal Orlando to Open New Aventura Hotel in 2018

In the summer of 2018, Guests will be able to step inside Universal’s Aventura Hotel, the next incredible addition to Universal Orlando Resort's hotel collection.
It will offer yet another value priced option when choosing from the wide range of hotels at this amazing destination and will bring affordable-chic to life on-site. Guests will surely be amazed as they arrive to this 16-story tower that will soar through Florida's sky, with sunshine and clouds reflecting in its all-glass design.

Inside, Guests will walk into the open, loft-inspired lobby, where the sunshine will stream in through 18-foot windows. Those same windows will also provide an amazing view outside to the pool level.

The modern and serene guest room, designed with refreshing, natural colors, will feature floor-to-ceiling windows that will allow Guests to enjoy even more great views of the Universal Orlando Resort.

Neighboring Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, Universal’s Aventura Hotel will be just steps away from Universal Orlando’s theme parks and Universal’s Volcano Bay (opening early summer 2017). And all of it will be accessible by walking paths or complimentary shuttle service right from the hotel.

But the fun doesn’t end when you leave the theme parks. Unwind at the hotel with a soak in the crystal clear pool or poolside hot tub – with a cocktail from the pool bar, perhaps? Meanwhile, the kids expend the rest of their energy on the nearby splash pad.

When it’s time to eat, there will be plenty of choices within the hotel. On the lobby level, a casual food hall with five different cuisine options will appeal to all different taste buds. Have a seat and eat in, or grab and go back to your room.

The hotel's rooftop bar will be a first at Universal Orlando. There you’ll be able to enjoy craft cocktails and small plates while soaking in the incredible panoramic views. You’ll almost be level with the tip of nearby Krakatau, the 200-foot-tall centerpiece of Universal’s Volcano Bay!

And, of course, guests staying at Universal’s Aventura Hotel will receive Early Park Admission to Universal’s theme parks as well as complimentary on-site transportation.

  1. Hopefully it won't be seen from within the park. Although Universal is less concerned with sightlines than Disney (out of necessity due to the density of the park and the proximity to tall structures outside the park), it still takes away from the immersion of a theme park.

  2. Excellent point there Jason.
I think sightlines are important both within the Parks and on the outside perimeters. I had concerns over the Harry Potter area dominating the skyline behind Jurassic Park. It doesn't bother some but , to my mind, poor camouflaging detracts from the ambience of an area and, as Jason points out, how immersed in a theme you can become.
Disney go to great lengths to address this but Universal might have considered the effect that something like Rip Ride Rockit has throughout the Park. It pervades almost every area and, as good a ride as it may be, it should not be compromising other attractions.
    Just saying.................
