Universal Studios Update: New York Attraction Construction

The summer season has officially begun here in Orlando. Many of the schools in the area are now closed until the end of August, marking the beginning of one of the busiest times of the year for the parks and attractions in Central Florida.
This morning we'll focus on Universal Studios Florida, where two major projects continue to take shape in two separate themed areas: the Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon simulator and the Fast & Furious ride. Take a look:

First of all, here you are some photos of the facade of Race Through New York:

Not a lot seems to have changed since our last update:




It looks like the first layer of the facade will only cover half of the building:




Guests can still see the interior of the soundstage from the walkways:




The future entrance of the attraction:




It appears that the rest of the facade will remain the same:





It's time to move on to the future site of the new Fast & Furious ride:



A new crane was brought to the site a few days ago:





The former entrance of Disaster! will no longer be an entrance point for the new ride:
