Photo-Tour of the Beautiful Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is, without a doubt, one of the most amazing and inspiring themed hotels found at the Walt Disney World Resort.
In addition to the grandeur of the lobby and the expansive savanna located behind it, the hotel features plenty of African artifacts and educational activities that set it apart from other resorts. If that wasn't enough, the hotel also contains some of the highest-rated restaurants on property that shouldn't be missed.

Let's take a quick look around Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to enjoy the common areas of the resort:

The porte cochere:

The lobby looks quite similar to that of the Wilderness Lodge:

The seating areas:

One of the artistic creations on display is currently being refurbished:

The rest of the lobby area:

The Mombasa Marketplace shop is very large and contains themed merhcandise:

The map of the resort:

Going downstairs:

Here is where Guests can find the great table-service restaurants we mentioned at the beginning:

The pool area is nothing special, but it is very large:

Animals (except flamingos) are a little harder to spot during the evening:

And that is all for now. Before concluding, remember to like us on our official Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for live updates from the parks. 1. Thanks for the great photos.

  2. If you time it right, the night viewings are amazing with the night vision goggles, just gotta find which locations they're doing the viewings at that night. We only got about 5 minutes of time in before it "closed" but it was a really cool, free, experience!

  3. Note to those not sure, this is Jambo House being shown here. It's the 'hotel' side of the resort, but does contain a number of DVC villas in all categories of size, view and service). Kidani is the sister resort to Jambo and is just next door - it is entirely DVC villas and while beautiful and I prefer the rooms there, it does not have the same amount of services offered. Both are considered to be Animal Kingdom Resort locations and are easily confused.
