Epcot Update: World Showcase and Frozen Ever After

Epcot's World Showcase has received plenty of new additions in the past few months. Indeed, new entertainment offerings debuted in some of the "countries," including The American Adventure, Morocco, the United Kingdom, and Canada.
Additionally, other minor changes in other areas, like the new Audio-Animatronic figures of the Three Caballeros in Mexico. In this update, we will check out some of those changes as well as the Frozen-themed area taking shape in Norway.

Welcome to Mexico:

As previously stated, some truly great Audio-Animatronic figures have been installed in the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros ride (you can learn more about them by clicking here):

Donald and some of his Mexican friends were coming out to greet Guests:

The new Frozen character greeting location continues to take shape between Mexico and Norway:

The building is very small, but it looks like it will be themed quite nicely:

All of the exposed areas of the building will soon be covered:

Work also continues in the heart of the Norway pavilion:

The facade of the former Maelstrom attraction is still completely covered by tarps:

Leaving the area (and the crowds) behind:

The miniature area was refurbished a few months ago:

The Canadian Lumberjacks are now history. Their equipment is all gone:

  1. U.K. Remains, probably always will be, the best pavilion. Both sides of the main street, the atmosphere, the cobbles, the entire look feel etc.
France a close second, commanding the corner. Those two really take hold of their corner and surround you.
The rest can be walked past like so many store fronts.

i do enjoy pieces of them all, but the UK France corner ... I can hang out there all day with ne'er a care in the world.

  2. The only thing missing is, "In my opinion..."

  3. I always felt the uk area is let down by having no attraction or movie like China and France. The only thing I enjoy in the area is the fish and chips and a cup of English tea.

  4. Ha! Hey Lance, did it ever occur to you to look in a dictionary? This is the comment section, not the "objective stated verified fact" section. lol

Attractions? No attractions in UK? Huh. No Andy, there are attractions, you just don't like them or they don't interest you.

    And that's ok.

  5. I think World Showcase could take a page from the Universal play book and add simulator rides in a couple of the countries...obviously people like them since they fawn over how amazing they are at Uni. A Gondola cruise through Venice, a high speed train through Japan, a tour of Paris from Ratatoulli, a magic carpet ride showcasing the beauty of Morocco, etc. Do it like Star Tours where they have randomizers for where they go and then you have ever changing rides in all these countries.

  7. To Anonymous are you going on about the Uk itself or the Uk part of World Showcase. Cause I was talking about the Uk section of World Showcase. We got so much history they could have a ride where you sit in taxi's and it takes you thought the history of Britain or a 360% cinema using Uk legends to tell the story.
