Epcot Update: Captain EO Travels to Other Planets

Epcot has been under the spotlight quite often in the past few months. A new attraction is coming to the Norway pavilion, Soarin' expands to include a third theater (and, very soon, even a new film), Innoventions West and Captain EO close... is Epcot finally getting the attention it righteously deserves?
While we contemplate the possibilities, let us take a look around the park to see the progress that has been done so far in the few areas under construction:

Busy day...

Let's start by taking a look around the Imagination! pavilion:

All the Captain EO signs have been covered:

No more saving the world... or, at least for the moment:

While the new Tomorrowland sneak peek will officially open April 18, a special Annual Passholders-only preview will open on April 17. Additional details can be found on the official passholder website.

Guests can still have fun playing with the fountains in this area:

Our sources told us that this will be the new location of the Visa (Chase) character meet-and-greet:

Spring at Epcot is a thing of beauty:

Work continues in the future site of the new Frozen meet-and-greet:

Work also continues to be done inside the former Maelstrom attraction:

The Village people are performing at the America Gardens Theater this weekend:

That is all for now:

  1. Always great pictures. EPCOT should be working with GM and setup a small city that runs on self-driving cars. Actually use the park as a test site.
