Magic Kingdom Hub Update: New Walkways Take Shape

Welcome to our latest Magic Kingdom Park photo-report, Orlando Theme Park News Readers! Today we are going to take a look around the central hub of the park, which continues to be expanded to allow Guests to have an overall better experience, especially during the busiest times of the day (and the year). There has been a lot of progress since our last photo-update, so you will notice new concrete walkways and some nice new details. Join us as we take a look around:

Let's start from the left side of the hub:

Lots and lots of sand:

Notice the new concrete walkways taking shape:

The bridge:

As you can see, the water will stop at a certain point under the bridge, as the opening will become smaller:

More work being done nearby:

Prep work for more walkways:

The right side of the hub:

The second bridge is also taking shape:

Time to leave for now:

And that is all for now. Before concluding, remember to like us on our official Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for live updates from the parks. Thank you for your support, and see you again real soon!

  1. Great update, as usual!

Tremendous amount of work at the Hub. Its not a quick 3 day DIY TV show backyard makeover.

I am amused by a comment I read somewhere on the net where a visitor "barely noticed any construction at the hub, the scrims were so good"

Makes me wonder if they were actually at the MK? Or were the blinders _that_ good??

    :)
