CityWalk Update: Cowfish Construction Progress

Most of the work on the new restaurants and shops has concluded at Universal's CityWalk (this is rumored to be only phase 1 of a much bigger project), but there's still one venue that has not opened to the public yet - the Cowfish restaurant. This great restaurant will open later this year, and it will feature quite a few out-of-the-ordinary food items and decor (just look at the colors of the building's exterior!). Let us take a look around to see what has been done in the past few days:

The huge building housing Cowfish:

Work continues on the new elevator and the main entrance of the restaurant:

Behind the building, a new structure has been assembles. The awning will cover the area right in front of the secondary entrance of the restaurant (which will be accessible from both the first and second floors):

It looks a lot like a roller coaster track to us!:

More photos of the back of the building:

CityWalk is very quiet during the day. It would be nice to have attractions that would be open all day to increase business during the day. That said, CityWalk is very much alive during the evening:

Nearby, the final version of the signs advertising some of the new dining venues have finally been installed. Previously, there were only temporary signs that did not light up at night:

Time to go...

And that should be all for now. Check back later today for more news and updates!
