CityWalk Update: Universal Studios Store Opens (PART 1)

Welcome to our newest photo-report, Orlando Theme Park News Readers!
Today we are going to take a look around CityWalk Orlando to check out on the progress being done in the various areas that are currently under construction. As always, we will focus on the Cowfish  and Vivo Italian Kitchen restaurants. This time, we will also be able to take a look around the new Menchie's and the Universal Studios Store, which are now open. So, let's start to take a look around:

First of all, some work is being done on the moving walkway near the Hollywood Drive-In Mini Golf:

Time to check out Menchie's:

It looks good outside:

And it smells great inside!:

Small seating area (there are many more seats outside):

Anyone can taste something before making a purchase:

Menchie's is definitely a great addition to Universal's CityWalk. It definitely feels like a great place to cool off and enjoy a frozen yogurt. As other have mentioned, a very positive aspect of this new location is that Guests can choose the amount of yogurt and/or condiments they would like to purchase, minimizing waste.

Time to get back to work:

Work on the Cowfish restaurant continues:

Vivo Italian Kitchen:

We just noticed on Twitter that the sign for Vivo Italian Kitchen was installed just a few hours ago (these photos were taken yesterday afternoon, so we missed this new addition. We'll be back soon, though. Don't worry):

A closer look:
