2013 TEA Worldwide Theme Park Attendance Report

The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) just released the 2013 Worldwide Theme Park Attendance Report (you can view a PDF version of this report by clicking here). As every year, Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom continues to grow and to be the most visited theme park in the world. Universal Studios Florida had an exponential growth this year, while Islands of Adventure only had a 2% growth. Let's take a closer look at the numbers for the U.S. theme parks:

As you can see, Florida's theme parks keep on ruling. All four of Walt Disney World's theme parks are in the "top 5" list of theme park attendance around the United States, and in the "top 10" of the worldwide list. As we stated before, Universal Studios Florida had an amazing growth (+14%), while Islands of Adventure had a 2% growth. Unfortunately, SeaWorld Orlando's attendance dropped (-5%), as did Busch Gardens Tampa's (-6%):

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park continue be the most visited themed water parks in the United States, and the number 2 and 3 (respectively) in the world. SeaWorld's Aquatica also made it to the "Top 10" list of water parks around the world. Wet 'N Wild Orlando also continues to be quite popular. Sadly, Busch Gardens' Adventure Island didn't fare too well last year (-2%):
