Universal Studios Update: New Fountain in London (PART 1)


Welcome to our newest photo-report, Orlando Theme Park News Readers!
Today we are going to take a look around Universal Studios Florida to check out on the progress being done in the various areas that are currently under construction. Today, we will definitely focus on the London waterfront, as there are some really exciting developments to report in regards to that area. So, without further ado, let us start to take our usual virtual tour of the park together:


Let's start with Production Central:


Rodeo Drive and Hollywood Boulevard were very quiet. Gorgeous time to be walking around the parks:









Some work was being done in the area right in front of Mel's Drive-In:







No more previews taking place inside the Cafe La Bamba restaurant:





The beautiful Garden of Allah Villas area:









The entrance of Woody Woodpecker's KidZone:



Springfield U.S.A., home of the famous Nuclear Plant:



A really fine themed area:













World Expo:





These two towers seem to have been recently repainted (like most of the areas around the park):



A huge crane is currently parked next to Men in Black Alien Attack:









Concrete work continues to be done in the backstage area located right next to Fear Factor LIVE:



Time to check out the great London Embankment:



First, we'll take a look at the area from across the lagoon:













Note that a huge new fountain has been installed right next to the bus:

  1. That's not a fountain - it's the statue of Eros in Picadilly circus. Nice to see they've got the Embankment lights right too. Wonder if they'll add a sphinx or cleopatras needle too?
