SeaWorld Orlando Update: One Ocean Returns (PART 1)

Welcome to our newest photo-report, Orlando Theme Park News Readers!
Today we are going to take a look around SeaWorld Orlando to check out the park in general. This is definitely one of the best times to enjoy SeaWorld due to the many special events going on. In addition to that, "One Ocean" finally reopened, and the new nighttime Shamu show is debuting at the end of June! So, let us embark on this virtual tour of the park:

  1. IF I were on the board of Seaworld Entertainment (formerly Blackstone), I would be working to phase out the whale and dolphin shows. The pressure to ban them is building.

So, in order to remain viable, the parks would need to increase their reliance on: Rides, and other themed attractions.

In other words, the oceanic/aquatic focus Disney/Universal don't really have.

And that is the direction Seaworld appears to be going with some quickness.

  2. I do think SeaWorld is wasting their potential for theming. The park has always been such a mishmash of themes. They got close with Atlantis and Kraken right next to each other. But they should really build on a Sea Zoo, with areas based on well used Ocean themes. Like Atlantis, Pirates, Tropics, The Arctics, Futuristic Underwater.
