Magic Kingdom Update: Hub Expansion (PART 2)

In part 1, we took a look at the entrance of the park and Main Street U.S.A. (focusing especially on the central hub's expansion). Now we will continue to walk around the park to see what's new and what is currently being worked on:


Adventureland:





Agrabah's facade is still receiving some attention:





The other side has been recently refurbished:

The refurbishment of the pre-show area of the Enchanted Tiki Room is scheduled to continue through May:





Pirates of the Caribbean:







Going to Frontierland:



Splash Mountain is still down for refurbishment, but the scaffolding around the attraction is mostly gone:





A brand-new Splash Mountain sign replaced the old wooden directional sign a few days ago:



It doesn't seem to be complete yet:

  1. Ah yes, I see what they did with the Liberty Square walkway now.

  2. As a parent of a special needs kid, I can't tell you how happy the widening of that Liberty Square ramp makes me. I'm sure it'll still get clogged up at parade times with people stopping to look, but at least its more than a wheelchair or stroller width wide and we won't be running people over as badly anymore.
