Universal Studios Update: New London Signs (PART 1)

Welcome to our newest photo-report, Orlando Theme Park News Readers!
Today we are going to take a look around Universal Studios Florida to check out on the progress being done in the various areas that are currently under construction. As always, we will focus primarily on the London Embankment, but we will also take a general look around the rest of the park. So, without further ado, let us embark on this virtual tour of the park. We hope you will enjoy the pictures (remember to post your comments at the end of this update!):

Some work is being done on the area housing the Guest Service windows:

A temporary Guest Service area has been set up near the ticket booths:

The park closed earlier due to a special event yesterday:

Inside the park, walking along Rodeo Drive:

Hollywood Boulevard:

Some additional tables have been placed all around the outdoor area surrounding the Cafe La Bamba:

Nothing happening here yet:

The KidZone:

Work on Fievel's Playland continues:

Some of the structures and props are being repainted:

We are not entirely sure, but it looks like Woody's Snacks booth received a new sign not too long ago:

A few new props have recently been added to the Animal Actors On Location! stage:

Springfield:

This is definitely one of our favorite themed areas of the park:

  1. Just out of curiosity, if the park is closing early, does Universal notify their hotel guests in advance of booking? If you pay everything before you leave, it must be very annoying to arrive and find out you are not going to get your full money's worth in the park. I always arrive in the summer, so I guess the early park closing doesn't happen then (???).
