Magic Kingdom Park Refurbishments (February-April 2014)

As you might have seen from our latest Magic Kingdom photo-report (which you can find by clicking here, by the way), a lot of refurbishments and rehabs are taking place all at once.

Today we would like to share with you some of the dates of most of the projects that will take place in the Magic Kingdom Park during the months of February, march, and April 2014. It might help you especially if you plan on visiting the park soon:

Current closures and refurbishments around the park:

• Casey’s Corner (Jan. 6-Feb. 15) - hot dogs can still be found at Friar’s Nook and The Lunching Pad;
• Splash Mountain (Jan. 6-March 21);
• Agrabah Bazaar (Jan. 7-Feb. 13) - Aladdin and Jasmine will be greeting Guests from the Adventureland entrance;
• The Barnstormer (Feb. 3-5).

Additional refurbishments – The following locations will remain open while work takes place:

• Plaza gate and planter modifications (Jan. 5-Feb. 28);
• Liberty Square river walk expansion, near the Riverboat landing (Jan. 6-Feb. 14);
• Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café outdoor patio enclosure (Jan. 6-Feb. 10);
• City Hall curb modifications (Jan. 6-March 7);
• Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room facade refurbishment (Jan. 6-May 30);
• Main Street Confectionery facade refurbishment (Jan. 13-April 11) ;
