Harlem Globetrotters and Fun Spot Team Up for Kids

ORLANDO, Fla. - Fun Spot America and the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters are teaming up for disadvantaged youth.

On Wednesday, February 26, starting at 3:00 p.m., eighteen kids from foster homes will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interact with a Harlem Globetrotter in-person and ride free of charge at Fun Spot America, located on International Drive. Fun Spot will provide the kids free unlimited armbands for rides as well as pizza & drinks.

“Fun Spot always look for ways to give back to the community. These kids will get the chance to meet a celebrity, eat pizza, ride roller coasters and go-karts... that’s HUGE!” states Television Spokesperson John Arie Jr.

The still-to-be named Globetrotter will also be available for autographs and photo ops with other Fun Spot guests. The Harlem Globetrotters have been thrilling fans for 85+ years and counting. They are slated to play at the Amway Center March 6, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are still available.

Fun Spot America prides itself as Central Florida’s Hometown Amusement Parks with locations in Kissimmee and Orlando. Kissimmee is home to the World’s Tallest SkyCoaster while Orlando houses White Lightning, Orlando’s ONLY Wooden Roller Coaster. With roller coasters, multi-level go-kart tracks, thrill rides and arcade games, Fun Spot America has something for everyone. The company is owned and operated by a local family from Oviedo, the Arie Family.
