Downtown Disney: Locations Showing the Superbowl
As most of our Readers will know, the 48th Super Bowl will take place today (Sunday, February 2, 2014) at the MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey.
Kickoff is scheduled for 6:25 p.m. EST on FOX. Walt Disney World Resort Guests can watch the Super Bowl from their in-room TV on channel 11 or visit a variety of locations across property, including the following locations at the Downtown Disney Area.

All the following locations would be great spots to watch the Superbowl today. Just pick one (or two) of them, and enjoy!:
- Bongos Cuban Café
- Fulton’s Crab House
- House of Blues
- Paradiso 37
- Planet Hollywood
- Rainforest Café
- Splitsville Luxury Lanes
- Wolfgang Puck Café
In addition to that, Splitsville Luxury Lanes at Downtown Disney West Side will host a "Super Bowling" Spectacular Sunday, Feb. 2, at 5:30 p.m. With an $85 ticket purchase, Guests 21-and-older can enjoy:
- Appetizers and buffet 6-9 p.m.
- Three open bars serving premium beverages 6-9 p.m.
- 40 flat screen TVs
This is the 2nd annual "Super Bowling Spectacular, supporting the Clean the World organization. Purchase tickets at http://cleantheworld.org/superbowling.html. Due to this private event (which will last until 11:00 p.m.), the 2nd floor will be closed to all Guests who do not wish to purchase tickets. Dining will be available for all Guests in the first floor dining and bar areas, and the Outdoor Patio. A full menu will still be available. The entire venue is expected to reopen to all Guests at 11:30 p.m.
Staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort? Then you should note that Guests interested in watching the big game are invited to stop into Rix Lounge today from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. A special buffet will be served from 5-10 p.m. featuring a nacho bar, buffalo wings, beef sliders and more. Beer, cocktail and shot specials will also be available. Guests can take part in trivia, raffles and a scorecard game for the chance to win a $50 bar tab.
