Magic Kingdom: Talking Mickey Officially Debuts

Mickey Mouse is now having some very fun and entertaining conversations with Guests visiting him at the Town Square Theater! In fact, as confirmed by the official Disney Parks Blog, Mickey will be talking directly to Guests starting from today (October 21, 2013). Here you are some frequently asked questions about this change:

Is this the “Talking Mickey?”
Mickey has been talking since he made his debut in the sound cartoon, “Steamboat Willie.” This experience, unique to Town Square Theater, enables Guests to have a conversation with Mickey Mouse.

Will Mickey be talking at other parks/locations?
Mickey Mouse usually saves his voice for shows and parades. This experience with Mickey Mouse is unique to Town Square Theater.

Are any other characters going to be talking?
At the Walt Disney World Resort, we are continually looking for new ways to enhance the Guest experience. This opportunity is unique to meeting Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater. Elsewhere, Guests may have conversations with Crush during Turtle Talk with Crush at Epcot, the stars of the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor in Tomorrowland, the Disney Princesses at Princess Fairytale Hall and more!
