Limited Time Magic: "Original Boy Band" Coming Back
Next week's special Limited Time Magic event for Walt Disney World has just been officially announced:

This August, as part of Limited Time Magic, the Dapper Dans of Magic Kingdom park are bringing their iconic medley of popular boy band hits back to the street! So far, we really haven't liked/cared for most of the event linked to Limited Time Magic... What about you?
Its been pretty lame and when something is Limited Time only it should not keep coming back. I guess they ran out of original ideas.
ReplyDeleteI agree that much of the limited time magic offerings have been pretty uninspiring to date
ReplyDeleteHowever I can see sense in this Limited Time Magic for Disney: it may be difficult to get a real idea of guests unhappiness at the discontinuation of an entertainment offering from the handful of complaints they receive from the minority of guests (those who can actually be bothered to complain)
Its much easier to assess the reaction of guests when that entertainment offering returns (even for a short while)
although to be honest, most of the limited time offerings so far have made me think "yeah, whatever..." - although even this reaction aids Disney: at least they now know it was right to discontinue them in the 1st place!
maybe Disney would have been better off not making such a song and dance about it though: They are making each Limited Time Magic seem a big deal, when to most of us, it isn't much at all
