Dillon's Updates: Pirate's Cove Miniature Golf (PART 2)

Welcome to PART 2 of this Pirate's Cove photo-report (PART 1 can be found HERE).

Let's now continue to take a look around this highly-themed miniature golf course with Dillon:

Duck tape used to cover electrical? Not very safe...

The cave hole is closed for refurbishment:

New rocks and other materials in the back parking lot waiting to be put in:

The course was very busy. There were lines to play at each hole but not too long where we couldn't enjoy it still:

They've always had these random boxes around. Only complaint would be that it should be more themed to match the area. I’m assuming the pumps for the waterfalls are under these boxes:

Temporary signs for the holes:

The new I-Drive Live project is right across the street. Road work and much more still underway:

Ugly barricades blocking holes that are under construction. Should have used the rope barricades they have throughout the course to block off:

I had to take a picture of this hole because it looks like Oswald from Disney : )

Safety signs that are well themed:

A new pirate ship is the newest addition to Pirate’s Cove. From what we could see, looks like you’ll get to play a hole and walk around on the ship once it’s finished:

Work being done on the bridge to the ship:

More ugly barricades:

White board with sharpie writing explaining the hole is closed:

Well theme informational signs to read while you wait to play:

Well decorated score cards:

Thank you very much for reading, and another big "thank you!" to Dillon for sharing these photos with us.

  1. Thanks for the coverage Mr. OTPN admin.
Nice to see these other attractions I've always enjoyed looking while driving and played once in one of my Orlando visits.

Side note: Seems that the links are not working at least for me, the click here (for part 2 of the update) links. Seems like the "hyperlink" is missing or something...

  2. The admins are on vacation and said they would fix those links when they return.

Thanks for sharing this! This place looks really cool! Even with the working being done it looks like it's themed well. I never really venture off disney or universal property as I never rent a car but seeing these other neat things orlando has to offer is good to know in case I ever do have more time in the area to do other things.

  3. Jessica,

Make sure next time to check out Lynx bus routes or if you are staying at Universal Studios, a 10 minute walk can get you to the iRide Trolley which takes you up and down the famous International Drive where most of this cool places to visit and restaurants are located.
