  1. I'm already counting the minutes until the usual doom-and-gloomer foamers start chiming in...

  2. More corporate greed. It used to be that the price of a ticket was pegged to one day's pay ay minimum wage. The reasoning was that anyone can get in for a day even someone on min wage and have a good time. Sadly that's went by the wayside. The theme parks are about to price themselves out of existence. If your average family can't afford it, who will support them? The rich? Don't think so. Vote with your wallet folks, and just stay away from the bs that is Orlando theme parks. go to St. Augustine , Mairineland, or any of the other attractions that don't bankrupt the family savings.

  3. You are comparing Marineland to Disney? I've been to Marineland several times, and there is no competition. Yes, it is expensive. As a Canadian with three children, it is very expensive, but you get what you pay for. If you want parks that are updated and are well maintained and operated, you have to pay for it. Our amusement park in Montreal costs $50 to enter and really, it needs a complete overhaul for a Six Flags park. For me, it takes time to raise the money to go, but it is worth every penny. It is just a matter of time before Universal raises its prices. Seaworld will be next and so on. I wish prices would remain the same, but that is not realistic. High quality means high price. That's the way it is no matter where you travel.

  4. Universal already raised their prices and are so much more reasonable than Disney. Disney 4-day single-park-a-day is $279, Universal 4-day park-to-park is only $168. I know who will get my money.....
