Special Effects for New Volcano Testing Tonight at DTD

After more than a year of hard - but painfully slow - work, there are finally some good news regarding the quite nice-looking new volcano that has been built around the Rainforest Café building at Downtown Disney.

In fact, according to Disney, "the Rainforest Café project team at Downtown Disney will test some special effects on the new Rainforest Café volcano overnight this week beginning tonight, June 3, at 10 p.m. The test is part of the construction process and will include sound, lighting, visible flames and smoke from the top of the volcano."

An even better news: the Rainforest Café project is expected to be complete within the next few weeks!
