Universal Orlando Resort: More Curious George?

The Universal Orlando Resort is already incredibly busy with multiple projects taking place all at the same time. And it looks like they are not going to stop anytime soon, as rumors about even more new additions pop up every week or so. Well, today the official Twitter account of the Universal Orlando Resort posted the following:

The man with the yellow hat sees something coming on the horizon…

If you don't know, the man with the yellow hat is the guy that takes care of Curious George in its homonymous television series. He accompanies him in most of his adventures.

So, what does that mean? Do you think that more Curious George-related attractions may be coming to Universal Studios Florida, specifically in the Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone area of that park? Of course, there's already a quite big water play area themed after Curious George in the park, but may they be looking into expanding that area by building a new ride or attraction in the old Hard Rock Cafe' area? Or are they just playing around with us? It would just seem so strange to announce yet another expansion while there are two still-unannounced expansions already taking place in the park... What do you think?

  1. the building in front of him certainly looks very similar to the cafe la bamba area of the park.

  2. The Curious George area in Los Angeles will need to be removed for Harry Potter. Maybe they will re-locate the equipment to Orlando?

  3. I think the word you're looking for in the first paragraph under the picture is 'eponymous.'
Otherwise, good news for the kids, but still not enough for me to choose this as the park I get passes to with my family. There's more for the whole family to enjoy at Sea World, Busch Gardens, and Disney. Legoland has good little kid stuff, but not much for adults.

  4. @Last Anonymous: Sorry, we meant to write "homonymous." Thank you for reporting that. Also, it looks like Universal Orlando just posted a random picture, as nothing related to Curios George has been announced yet... Unless they still want to wait a little longer before announcing anything else other than Transformers for now.
