Blizzard Beach Now Closed for Rehab Until March 16

Please, take note of the fact that starting from today (Sunday, January 6, 2013) through March 16, 2013, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park will be temporarily closed for refurbishment. During this time, Guests can enjoy Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, which has just reopened after its seasonal refurbishment.

Guests without a car wanting to visit Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf during this period will have to go to Epcot and board the bus to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Guests traveling from Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf should board the bus to Epcot from Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and transfer to their appropriate destination at Epcot. Transportation service operates daily beginning at 10:30 a.m. from Epcot until 11 p.m. from Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.

    Any plans to visit Typhoon Lagoon to see how the refurb went? I don't remember the last time you visited one of Disney's water parks. ;-)
