Epcot Update: Test Track Rehab Continues (PART 3)

We will start this last part of our new Epcot update by taking a look at the entrance of The Land pavilion:

As you can clearly see, it has recently been cleaned up, and it looks much better:

It doesn't look like a forest any longer:

Unfortunately, the water flowing on the front of the sign was recently turned off. We certainly hope it will come back soon, as it was a very neat effect:

The Imagination Pavilion:

Take a look at the sad condition of the exterior:

Some random photos of the entrance (with the spectacular colors of the sunset):

Inside the queue, it looks like some new lights have been installed:

The new carpet has finally been completely installed (along with a mysterious wall):

This ride is a hit with park Guests! Well, maybe this was true for its previous incarnation....

The (seemingly abandoned) Odyssey pavilion. Yes, it just gets better...:

A nice panoramic photo of the area... which actually has a sinkhole beneath the water (FULL-SIZE):

The Liquid Layers water play area was receiving some attention:

Before going to World Showcase, we noticed that blue lights were on along Test Track's... track:

Time to move on.

In Norway, some work was being done on the roof of some of the themed buildings:

A new chimney has also been built, and will probably be used in the Agent P interactive game:

It also look like there's a new "face" on the rockwork near the waterfall:

A closer view of this seemingly new particular:

Goodnight, Norway!:

And that is all for now. Thank you very much as always for reading, and see you soon with more news and updates! Also, as always, we encourage you to post comments regarding this update. We value your opinions!

  1. Man, Epcot updates are getting pretty depressing...

  2. I have to agree. I hope after Fantasyland is finished that some real work is done at Epcot. I cannot image why anyone would pay just to go to Epcot instead of the Park Hopper. It needs a complete overhaul and some new attractions.

  3. With all due respect, the only people who think Epcot needs work are people who have been many times. First time visitors will never notice this and for most adults, this will be their most favorite park by far.

Just wanted to post this if anyone who hasn't been to Disney is considering a visit.

  4. Odyssey hasn't been COMPLETELY abandoned. The space still gets hired out for special events.

  5. I was at Epcot twice in the last week (probably at the same time OTPN was!) and wow, can I agree with the sentiments here. I understand that many first time visitors will enjoy the part, especially the adults, but with Test Track closed, it is painfully obvious how little there is to do in the park besides spend more money. I only visit for the festival and that, of course, can only be enjoyed with more money spent.
