Friday, August 3rd Disney Family Movies "Play At The Next Level" Sweepstakes Summer Games Update: What does it mean to be truly first at the Summer Games? Thursday, August 2nd was a day of firsts in London 2012:  Team USA Gymnast Gabrielle "Gabby" Douglas, the "Flying Squirrel" (on Twitter: @gabrielledoug) became the first ever African-American for Team USA to win gold in the women's all-around gymnast finals. It's hard to believe there are any first left for Team USA Swimmer Michael Phelps (on Twitter: @MichaelPhelps), but he became the first male swimmer to win the same race at the same three Summer Games, when he took gold in the men's 200 meters individual medley. And Team USA Judo saw its first women's gold, ever, with Kayla Harrison (on Twitter: @Judo_Kayla) taking the top of the podium.

But perhaps it means even something more: For the very first time, these London 2012 Games sees all 205 countries being represented by at least one women athlete, as the nations of Brunei, Quatar and Saudi Arabia have female competitors. And also for the very first time, the U.S. has sent more female athletes (269) than men (261).

First, second, third, gold, silver, bronze --  to get to London 2012 takes tremendous skill, hard work and courage. We salute all nations and athletes of these Summer Games!

Super Saturday brings a remarkable day of daylong events in London, beginning with Women's Field Hockey and ending with Men's Basketball. All told Gold medals will be won, including in rowing, swimming, and cycling. Here comes Summer Games Super Saturday!
