Wednesday, August 1st DFM Summer Games Update: And then they went gold! Team USA brought home serious hardware yesterday, with the celebrated Fab Five (a/k/a the Fierce Five) of the Women's Gymnastics team taking the top level of the podium for the first time since the 1996 Games in Atlanta (on Twitter: @USAGym). Swimmer Allison Schmitty took gold in the women's 200 meters (on Twitter: @arschmitty), and, speaking of swimmers, some guy named Michael Phelps (on Twitter: @MichaelPhelps) became the most decorated Olympian of all time, Summer or Winter Games, with his record-breaking 19th medal:  gold in the men's freestyle relay (and it took his team, on Twitter: @USA_Swimming). Tuesday was a golden day for Team USA!

Wednesday, August 1st:  American flag-bearer and fencer Mariel Zagunis goes for a golden three-peat in women's individual sabre. Team USA Men's Gymnastics tries to keep up with the Women and podium, and, after an 88 year absence, mixed doubles tennis returns to the Summer Games. Who will take home gold?
