Duffy the Disney Bear: Merchandise Now Limited
The Walt Disney World Resort just disclosed an important news: all guests will now be able to purchase only a limited amount of Duffy's merchandise items. Here you are all the information you need to know, especially if you are a big fan Duffy the Disney Bear:

Purchase Limit on Duffy the Disney Bear Products
Given the popularity of Duffy the Disney Bear, beginning May 6, 2012, all Duffy products will have a same-item purchase limit of five (5). The same-item limit includes all Duffy products (plush, costumes, accessories) and souvenir items. Same-item refers to items with the same sku (e.g., Guest can purchase five (5) 17” Duffy plush and five (5) 28” Duffy plush because they are different skus). The same-item purchase limit of five Duffy products is effective across all Disney entities (including international and online). The only exception is Tokyo Disneyland, where the same-item purchase limit on Duffy products will remain at three per transaction.

Well, it looks like Duffy is really becoming a major Disney character! We actually thought he was going to be forgotten soon. That being said, we are actually pleased to see Duffy receiving such attention from guests.

ReplyDeleteYou could just go to a different store and buy more, or have a friend or spouse buy more. You can't really prevent people from buying more than 5 so I don't see the point of the policy.
ReplyDeleteBesides that, why would anyone be buying 5 anyway? Are they hoarders or something? ;-)
